Alison Vainlo 2018
Hello,
ReplyDeleteMy father George Gary Smith (who is 81 years old) believes that his Grandmother is Caroline Breach who was married of Ernest Robert Smith from Ontario, Canada. We believe that she was born around 1874 in Lowestof, England and died on September 5, 1931 in Wentworth, Ontario Canada. Can you share any information about the Breaches owning a fishing fleet in the 1800's in Lowestoft?
Thank you,
Sandra Smith Knapp
Hi Sandra, I'm sorry but I don't believe the Lowestoft Breaches are related to my branch, which are all from Sussex. I have heard snippets about them being fishermen, but as my research has already revealed a huge amount of ancestors I haven't been inclined to explore them. If you are on Facebook try joining the group 'Breach Nuts Don't Fall Far From the Tree', you could post this question on there and I'm sure you would get some help. Thanks for asking, Alison
DeleteI was just looking into this as well as I am an ancestor of Caroline Breach and Ernest Smith. I believe Carolines father is William (b. 1843, d. 16 Dec 1891) as you have shown in your tree being from Lowestoft.
